NEWS

19th May, 2007.

The new Issue of our glossy magazine devoted to the world of women's handball will be published this weekend.

Inside the 2008/1 edition of Time Out Magazine we focus on the important handball happenings of the last half year, the 2007 World Championship in France, the difficulties surrounding the Olympic Qualification Tournaments, their outcome, and the EHF Champions League. In our glossy 52-page publication we provide space for handball experts to publish their papers on various aspects of handball theory, the first paper being devoted to the topic of "the playing skill". Also, accomplished referees with international experience answer our questions, commenting and advising on specific issues and situations.

A host of top European handball clubs have come together with the intention of forming a powerful lobbying body within the sport. The new body will be known as the Women's Club-handball Association (WCA), and Time Out tells the story of its formation and aims.

Among the many contributors to Time Out's 2008/1 issue are: Bojan Cotar (Krim Ljubljana), Nair Almeida (Angola), Ausra Fridrikas (formerly of Slagelse DT and Hypo-NOE), Dr. Carmen Manchado Lopez (Germany), Else-Marthe Sorlie Lybekk (HC Leipzig), Zsuzsanna Lovász (Dunaferr NK), Ildikó Barna (DJK/MJC Trier), Evgeny Trefilov (Zvezda Zvenigorod, Russian NT), Valerie Nicolas (Ikast-Bording), Cristina Varzaru (Viborg HK), Andreja Penezic and Jelena Grubisic (Lokomotiva Zagreb).
